Once upon a time… That’s how fairy tales from days gone by begin. But when we say “Once upon a time”, we’re talking more about modern times. Specifically, we’re talking about digitalization. And so it was, not so long ago, when we still kept business records, documentation and much more in paper form. Folder by folder, neatly organized in filing cabinets. But that was a thing of the past. Today, blache medical is fully committed to digitalization: documents are stored electronically on servers, processed digitally, signed and routed through all processes in the company. They are available anytime and anywhere. With digital archiving, we meet all legal requirements, security specifications and retention periods for documents – and save a lot of space at the same time.
Leaner and more efficient processes
“For our innovative company, digitalization also means process optimization and leaner workflows,” emphasizes CEO Sven Blache. Documents can be shared or processed with customers in real time, which makes exchanges much easier. Our business partners also work digitally to a large extent, so that we are always on an equal footing and up to date.
We are also up to date thanks to a successful audit for the re-certification of our quality management for the design on behalf of customers and the manufacture of medical devices in accordance with ISO 13485. The standard confirms that blache medical meets the requirements for the design on behalf of customers and the manufacture of medical devices.
Commitment to climate protection
“For us, digitalization and sustainability are two sides of the same coin,” says Sven Blache – and thus bridges the gap between resource conservation and efficient processes and climate and environmental protection. Significantly reduced paper consumption is one aspect, but blache medical goes much further. For example, a photovoltaic system with an output of 45 kW was recently installed on the roof of the company building, which supplies “green” electricity. The fleet of company vehicles will gradually be converted to e-mobility and then charged with self-generated electricity. In this way, blache medical is living up to its responsibility to protect our planet.
