The award confirms the potential companies have to inspire their customers through superior services.

Success inspires and growth requires manpower. Thus, the team grows continuously from a one-man operation to a company with ten employees.

As a new service, blache medical establishes the area of product development and takes over the development of new medical instruments on behalf of customers - from the initial idea to design and production.

The K-Gripper convinces the experts: blache medical is awarded the "German Innovation Award 2020" for its in-house development just one year after its market launch. The award recognizes products that stand out from previous products primarily because of their added value for users.

A milestone in development is the K-Gripper, which blache medical will apply for as a registered trademark in 2019. This medical instrument allows target wires to be positioned precisely in the bone to mark a surgical site.

The company is now focusing more and more on internationalizing its business with markets in the USA, China and South Africa.

With the "Technology Fast 50 Award" Deloitte annually honors the fastest growing technology companies in Germany. blache medical is one of the winners.

The "TOP 100" award confirms: blache medical is one of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. Independent experts confirm the innovation leadership in the development and production of medical instruments.

blache medical is the winner of the 2017 Robin Academy Motivation Award. The initiative for the nomination comes from the mayor of the municipality of Wellendingen, Germany - he is enthusiastic about the development and growth of the company.

After just a few years, the new operating premises are already too small again. Various additions and renovations to the site increase floor space.

During an inspection, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) verifies and confirms blache medical's requirements under 21 CFR part820 for the commercial distribution of medical devices in the U.S. in accordance with regulatory requirements.

blache medical establishes itself as a competent service provider with its new offer in the field of laser marking of products on customer order.

After the promising sales start of blache medical's medical instruments in the USA via distribution partners, Sven Blache now sets out for the land of unlimited possibilities himself. The initial contact develops into a successful direct sale on the US market.

Success also means growth – as in, into a new, more spacious building. The company is bursting at the seams and urgently needs more space. The logical next step is the move to a larger company building in Wellendingen, Germany with further capacities for development, administration and production.

New name - new markets: The surgical instruments from blache medical are in great demand. The company ventures across the pond and starts selling its products in the USA.

The rapid growth also requires organizational adjustments. The company "Chirurgische Instrumente Sven Blache" becomes "blache medical GmbH & Co. KG".

The company grows, and with it the need for personnel. The first employees are hired, including Stefanie Blache in administration. In addition, the company makes big investments in its production facilities by adding modern machinery for finishing, such as laser welding.

Only one year after the foundation, the ambitious company is certified according to DIN EN ISO13485.

With his many years of experience and expertise, master surgeon Sven Blache ventures into self-employment. He founds the company "Chirurgische Instrumente Sven Blache". The first rooms are in the living room and basement of his house in Frittlingen, Germany.
